Blizzard expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall and blizzards are expected in some parts of western and central aimags on February 26, in northern part of eastern aimags on February 27, in most parts of western aimags, western part of central aimags, and eastern parts of eastern aimags on February 28, in most parts of the central and Gobi regions and western part of eastern aimags on February 29, and in some parts of the country on March 1.
Wind speed will reach 14-16 m/sec in most parts of the country on February 28, in the Gobi and steppes on February 27 and 29, and in western aimags on March 1.
In the depression of Lake Uvs and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -30 to -35 degrees Celsius during the night, and -16 to -21 during the day.
In mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Eg-Uur, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will be -21 to -26 during the night, and -8 to -13 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -7 to -12 during the night, and 0 to -5 during the day. In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -15 to -20 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -3 to -8 degrees Celsius.
