Request put forth to cooperate in introducing French technology in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On July 23, Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia Philippe Merlin.


Foreign Minister N.Enkhtaivan expressed hope that France would protect the rights of Mongolian nationals living and studying in France during the difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic and support to mitigate the negative impact of the pandemic on Mongolia’s economy. Moreover, he noted his willingness to cooperate in advancing bilateral relations and cooperation to a new level.


He also put forth a request to cooperate in establishing small and medium-sized enterprises that meet international standards and requirements and exporting their goods by introducing advanced technology and know-how of France.


Noting the Mongolia's consistent achievements over the past 30 years through the development of democracy, human rights and freedoms and free economic development, and the potential further strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation, the Ambassador affirmed his commitment to work together to implement the goals set by the Minister.
