Discussion takes place on increasing mining exports to ChinaPolitics
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 13, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.
The Ambassador passed on the congratulatory messages sent from PRC President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang on the Prime Minister’s victory in the parliamentary election and establishment of the new cabinet, and wished success in his work.
PM U.Khurelsukh expressed that he will actively partner in further expanding the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, maintaining continuity of foreign policy. He then noted that he believes both sides should pay attention to overcoming various challenges caused by the pandemic, bringing back trade and economic partnership to its normal state, and especially increasing the export and import of mining products.
In response, Ambassador Chai Wenrui underlined the importance of maintaining the frequency of high-level visits and meetings and stabilizing partnership mechanisms to prove the high prioritization of developing relations and partnership between the two countries by the side of China. The sides also discussed the ‘Green Gateway’ temporary regulation, implementation of large scale projects and programs during the meeting.
