JICA donates infection control equipment and PPE
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on January 11, handed over the donation of infection control equipment and disinfectants to the Mongolia-Japan Hospital, considering its significance to the efforts of protecting citizens’ health.
The hospital was built with a non-refundable aid provided by the Government of Japan and started its operation in 2019 with aims to provide patient-centered health services to the citizens and become a training and research base for human resource training in the Mongolian health sector.
Moreover, JICA also handed over a donation of personal protective equipment and N95 masks for health workers, to the Ministry of Health on January 8.
