Mongolia, Hong Kong to cooperate in investment field

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On May 3, representatives of the National Development Agency and Hong Kong's InvestHK participated in an online meeting organized by the Consulate General of Mongolia in Hong Kong and exchanged views on the specifics of the investment climate and policies of the two countries and issues of supporting companies.


During the meeting, B.Bulganchimeg, Deputy Director of the National Development Agency, provided information on attracting investments for projects and programs planned to be realized in Mongolia, exchanging experiences, organizing ‘Invest in Mongolia’ campaign in Hong Kong, and introducing economically viable projects to investors. She also said that the NDA would support the promotions of sustainable cashmere, fintech and start-up activities.


Underlining the company’s mission to strengthen its leading position in international business, Stephen Phillips, Director-General of InvestHK, introduced in detail about its efforts to attract and sustain long-term foreign direct investment of strategic importance to Hong Kong's economic development. He also offered free advice to companies to set up and expand in Hong Kong.


The two sides agreed to hold meetings in the future, involving Mongolian and Hong Kong businessmen and investors.
