Livestock birthing at 70.8 percent nationwide

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. To date, 17.5 million dams (70.8 percent
of total 24 million) have delivered offspring nationwide, reports the Ministry
of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
The offspring delivery rate is at 81.9 percent in the western
region, 67.7 percent in the Khangai region, 63.7 percent in the central and
75.6 percent in the eastern region.
From the total offspring, 16.9 million or 96.5 percent have
survived, which is at the same level compared to the same period of the
previous year.
