Meeting held with Ambassador of China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Road and Transport Development L.Khaltar and Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan on October 18 held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Chai Wenrui.
The meeting touched on the issues of the road, transport, food and agricultural sectors of the two countries, as well as the problems of cross-border transport. The Ministers put forth a request to the Ambassador to pay special attention and support in resolving the situation that Mongolian cargo containers are delayed at the Tianjin port and speed up the shipment of perishable and freezable freights as the cold season is approaching.
The two sides also expressed active cooperation in resolving the issues raised at the recent virtual meeting of the Prime Ministers of the two countries.
