Arrivals from abroad to be put in 3-day isolation
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During today’s press conference to present the decisions made at the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister’s Spokeswoman Ch.Bolortuya presented that Mongolian citizens arriving from abroad will be put in 3-day isolation.
Spokeswoman Ch.Bolortuya said, “Omicron variant has spread to more than 90 countries. Countries around the world are taking different measures against it. As for Mongolia, a decision was made on November 27 to place Mongolian nationals arriving from 11 countries in 10-day mandatory isolation upon arrival. Whereas, at today’s Cabinet meeting, the recommendation and suggestion of the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Communicable Diseases to isolate all citizens entering Mongolia for 3 days have been backed”.
She also reported that the date of the decision’s entry-into-force will be discussed at the State Emergency Commission’s meeting.
