Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On February 19, Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene became acquainted with some of the plans and blueprints that have been developed for projects to be carried out in Khushig Valley in the framework of the Government’s ‘New Revival Policy’.

The blueprints for the Government Complex, and a 600-household apartment complex for the employees of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, and detailed plans for the Free Economic Zone have been completed so far. It is being planned to construct a kindergarten with a capacity of 150 children as well as sufficient green space and parking area alongside the apartment complex.

Within the frames of taking appropriate measures to reduce traffic congestion and decentralize the capital city by establishing satellite cities, consulting services were also acquired for the construction plans for apartment complexes, hospital, schools, university dorms, and trade and services centers - leading to the decision to have the construction carried out per the architectural solutions and standards of South Korea, Kazakhstan, and Singapore. The corresponding plans and blueprints for some of the works have been completed.

As some citizens and entities have already acquired a certain portion of land near the new international airport, which is situated in Khushig Valley in the territory of Sergelen soum, Tuv aimag, the Prime Minister tasked the corresponding officials to have the Governor of Sergelen soum held responsible and not issue any more land in the area.

The Prime Minister became acquainted with the works along with all members of his Cabinet. Previously, he made a working visit to the valley three times during his term as the Cabinet Secretariat.
