Views exchanged on further developing cooperation in agriculture

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During his working visit to Belgium, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin met with Head of Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Antoine Evrard.
At the meeting, the two sides welcomed the active development of
relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Belgium in the fields of
politics, health, and the environment, and exchanged views on increasing the
economic and trade activities of the two countries and further developing
cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Moreover, the parties exchanged views on cooperation in the
fields of education and international peacekeeping within the framework of
further development of cooperation between the two countries. In this context,
it was agreed to seek the possibility of implementing a joint project to involve
Mongolian students in the scholarship programs of Belgium and to increase the
participation of women in international peacekeeping operations.
