Ambassador of Mongolia to Ireland with Residence in the United Kingdom Presents His Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, March 27, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Ireland Mr. Enkhsukh, with residence in the
United Kingdom, presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Ireland
Mr. Michael D. Higgins on March 23, 2023.
Ambassador Mr. Enkhsukh conveyed
warm greetings of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to the
President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins and expressed his readiness to further
develop the relations between Mongolia and Ireland and expand cooperation in
various fields, such as agriculture, culture, and education.
For his side, President Michael D.
Higgins expressed his satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations,
covering all sectors. Considering the fact that the number of Mongolians who
study and reside in Ireland has been increasing, the sides agreed to attend to
and closely cooperate in their social issues.
Then, Ambassador Mr. Enkhsukh met with the Director of the Asia Pacific Unit of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland Ms. Olivia Leslie and exchanged views on intensifying the bilateral cooperation in agriculture, reciprocating the highest and high-level visits, and organizing the Consultation meeting between the Ministries of the countries. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Mongolia and Ireland's establishment of diplomatic relations.
