Ulaanbaatar, March 10, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The “Museum Open Days” event is taking place nationwide from March 7 to March 13, 2025, under the theme “Regional Development and Patriotism.”

As part of the event, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum is implementing programs such as the “Stone Inscriptions of Tsogt Khun-Taij, Prince of Khalkha” woodblock printing activity and the “Mongols’ Sun and Moon Worship” postcard program. Additionally, the museum is promoting and introducing to the public sculptural works depicting Mongol Khaans in lifelike form.

Moreover, students specializing in history, archaeology, and cultural studies are being introduced to the museum’s educational and promotional exhibits. At the same time, an exhibition featuring the books and publications produced by the museum is being displayed.

Traditionally held during the first week of March, this year’s “Museum Open Days” coincided with the Mongolian Lunar New Year (Tsagaan Sar). Therefore, under the directive of the Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth, the event was launched on March 7, 2025.
