Flooding Response Ongoing in Zavkhan
Heavy rains caused a flash flood in Uliastai soum, Zavkhan aimag of Mongolia, on June 17, 2024, affecting numerous households. In response, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia S. Amarsaikhan promptly convened the emergency headquarters of the State Emergency Commission of Mongolia. They assessed the disaster situation and made swift decisions to address it.

Buryat Medical Delegation Visits Mongolia for Training
A delegation of doctors and medical specialists from Buryatia, the Russian Federation, arrived in Mongolia to study and gain experience at the First Central Hospital of Mongolia. Construction of Eco-District at the Sharkhad Sub-Center Begins

Ulaanbaatar-Prague Flights: MNT 1.3 Million (Over USD 380) One-Way
Mongolian civil aviation company, Eznis Airways, will operate direct flights on the Ulaanbaatar-Prague route starting July 10, 2024, with a frequency of twice a week. The one-way ticket price is set at MNT 1.3 million or over USD 380, and bookings are officially open.

Government of Mongolia to Support Educational Institutions Abroad to Promote Mongolian Language and Culture
To assist operations of educational institutions to disseminate and promote the Mongolian language and culture abroad the Government of Mongolia has approved a Regulation for Providing Government Support to Educational and Lifelong Learning Institutions Operating Abroad. The funding for the support will be secured within the 2024 budget allocation and the necessary funding will be reflected in the annual State Budget.

ONDO SPACE LLC'S SATELLITES COMPLETE THEIR DEMONSTRATIONS SUCCESSFULLY AND ARE READY TO START COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS
In March of this year, ONDO Space, Mongolia's first private space technology company, launched two 0.5U-class satellites from the US to demonstrate and test its Internet of Things (IoT) technological capabilities. Since their launch, the two satellites, named ONDOSAT-OWL-1 and ONDOSAT-OWL-2, have successfully passed all technical tests while operating in orbit at an altitude of 550 km, according to the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Dr. D. Amartuvshin.
