Four Mongolian Articles Published in International Scientific Journal
This year, four articles from our country were published in the prestigious international scientific journal registered in the World Science Database. The National University of Mongolia (NUM) has presented scientific works and articles of Mongolian scientists published in internationally recognized professional journals with SSCI, SCI, and AHCI indexes and were registered in the “Web of Science” database.
Mongolia Can Create Dynamic and Inclusive Labor Market, with Better Jobs for More Citizens
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s labor market has expanded significantly during the last two decades, with employment rising by 50 percent. Its labor force has also become increasingly educated: the share of the population aged 25 and over with a college degree now resembles that of high-income countries. Fewer people now work in agriculture, and more and more people are working in the service sector, a sign of development. These changes would suggest that Mongolia has a vibrant and diverse labor market with an abundant supply of good jobs.

Over 70 internationally recognized speakers and attendees from more than 20 countries, such as India, Australia, Bulgaria, Japan, and Indonesia, gathered at the Singapore Applied Psychology Conference on December 8- 9 to present their most current research advances under the theme of Psychological Well-being. The main goal of this annual conference is to discuss the advances, limitations, obstacles, and solutions the presenters experience regarding their respective research topics. This year, two psychological research projects were presented at the conference by Optimal NMax LLC from Mongolia. As Mongolia attended the conference for the first time, the topic and the population itself were relatively new to the attendees.

‘Switch Off Air Pollution in Mongolian Cities’ Project Launches
Air pollution is one of the most pressing issues facing Mongolia - even moreso in its capital Ulaanbaatar, where the Government of Mongolia has declared air pollution a national emergency. In this regard, Geres INGO implemented the Switch Off Air Pollution project between 2018-2022, funded by the European Union’s Switch Asia Programme, under which 1,546 households implemented energy efficient solutions, 73 construction brigades were trained, and 3,556 CO2 emissions were avoided.
