UNESCO Deputy Director-General awarded honorary title
Society | EducationUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Visiting Mongolia, the UNESCO Deputy Director-General Mr Getachew Engida has been awarded a honorary professor title of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) for his contributions to the development of the humanitarian and higher education sectors in Mongolia.
A ceremony took place on Tuesday at the MUST with a participation of the MUST rector professor B.Ochirbat. He highly spoke the UNESCO’s contribution to the education sector of Mongolia and emphasized that awarding the honorary title of the university to Mr Engida opened a door to the close cooperation between Mongolia and the UNESCO. He added that the sides concurred to establish a department of the UNESCO at the MUST for the engineering training.
