Justice Minister at “Hour of Minister” meeting
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Justice D.Dorligjav talked about legal reforms, law enforcement actions and great construction works at the “Hour of Minister” weekly meeting, on Thursday.
The Minister said parliament passed main bills on legal reforms in late 2015-early 2016, "adoption of these laws were vital works for our Ministry, its agencies and legal bodies".
Last year, parliament passed draft amendments to 12 laws on state registration of legal subjects, on legal documents, on amnesty, on conflicts, on general law on administration and on crime, the Minister said. The irregular session of parliament intends to discuss draft new wordings of the laws on criminal procedure, on law enforcement, on implementation of court decisions, on police service, on prosecutorial body and on arbitration; and related to them bills.
In conjunction with implementation of the legal reforms, training programmes and methods will be changed in the University of Law Enforcement and other universities on law, he emphasized.
In frames of the great construction, the national archive of Mongolia has moved to a new place equipped with internationally-recognized facilities; the Marshall service has moved to the old building of the archive, the Minister went on. A new building of a 120-bed hospital at the General Authority for Implementation of Court Decisions is expected to be commission this March, he added.
