Social insurance sector in statistics
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first quarter of this year, the revenue of Social Insurance Fund (SIF) was MNT 402.4 billion, reflecting an increase of MNT 82.1 billion or 25.6%, while the SIF expenditure--MNT 402.9 billion, increasing by MNT 39.4 billion or 10.9% against the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2016, money of MNT 36.7 billion was granted to 188.5 thousand people for pensions, and welfare benefits from the Social Welfare Fund (SWF). A number of people receiving pensions and welfare allowances increased by 4.1 thousand people or 2.2%, therefore an amount of pensions and allowances increased by MNT 1.5 billion or 4.2% compared to same period of the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2016, money of MNT 59.7 billion was granted from the Human Development Fund (HDF) to 990.1 thousand children aged below 18 as cash benefits.
