Mongolian Supreme Court Justice participates in IAWJ's 13th biennial Int’l conference
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The U.S Embassy in Mongolia Thursday reported that justice Munkhtuya Dashdorj from the Mongolian Supreme Court of Mongolia participated in the International Association of Women Judges’ (IAWJ) 13th Biennial International Conference with full funding from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
Held in Washington DC, the conference was organized under the theme "Women Judges and the Rule of Law: Assessing the Past, Anticipating the Future."
Along with 900 judges from 81 countries, Justice Munkhtuya took part in IAWJ’s regional meeting and a meeting of judges on international courts. She also participated in plenary sessions on topics such as New Developments in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Equality’s Frontiers, Restorative Justice, Courts in Crisis, and Women and Girls in Detention.
