UNICEF and Mobicom ink MoU for children’s rights

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and Mobicom Corporation signed Wednesday a memorandum of understanding on dissemination of social responsibility. David Holiday, the director-general of the corporation, said protection of chilren’s rights and helping them enjoy their basic freedoms will be a priority in Mobicom’s social responsibility.

UNICEF Country Manager for Mongolia Mr Roberto Benes expressed satisfaction with the event when the two organizations are joining forces for important issue for children. “I am confident that our cooperation will bring more opportunities for children”, he added.

In accordance with the MoU, the sides will be dedicating management and sources of the organization and the company for children in Mongolia, and unite their voices to make the government actions, policies and regulations toward children more accessible and favorable for the kids.

Actions on protecting children in online environment and assessments on outcomes and risks of online opportunities for children are included in their plans.
