Siberian wildfire entail fog in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The fog in Ulaanbaatar is caused by the fire in Siberia, inform officials from the Information and Research Institute for Hydrology, Meteorology and Environment. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirms that there were no fire in Mongolian territory last weekend.

Wildfires in Siberian forests are burning in 72 separate spots, covering 9,500 hectares of area, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on Sunday. The fire, which started on Friday, expanded by 1,000 hectares over the weekend. Krasnoyarsk is the most vulnerable area at the moment.

Thunderstorms are expected in western provinces of Mongolia today (July 25), and in the central region on Tuesday, reports the Institute.
