The State Emergency Commission yesterday made a decision to ban organizing a greeting ‘Zolgolt’ of State and communities during the Tsagaan Sar.

Although there is no confirmed case of nCoV in the country, the Government and State Emergency Commission are taking all-round preventive measures. Within this frame, the SEC decided to ban massive ‘Zolgolt’ greeting and national wrestling competition for Tsagaan Sar National Holiday, reported the N.Enkhbold, deputy head of the SEC and Minister of Defense.

At the meeting, the SEC assigned the Ministry of Health to scrutinize matters of preparing accommodation for temporarily stationing people who are coming from China and involving them in the medical checkups.

Mr.Enkhbold stressed "We must not close the state border, because many Mongolians in China want to come back to the home country." He also mentioned negative impacts of closing the border on the economy of Mongolia.
