President Khurelsukh Meets General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam

Hanoi, November 3, 2023 /MONTSAME. At the invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is paying a State Visit to Vietnam on November 1-5, 2023. 


During the Visit, President Khurelsukh met with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on November 3, 2023. 


At the outset of the Meeting, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh congratulated General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who has worked tirelessly for the development of his country for many years and holds the prestigious and responsible position of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee for the third time. President Khurelsukh wished General Secretary Trong success in his further endeavors. 


The Head of State of Mongolia Khurelsukh underscored the solid foundation of bilateral relations forged by successive leaders of the two countries, which has withstood the test of time and continues to grow and strengthen. President Khurelsukh expressed readiness to foster Mongolia-Vietnam relations and cooperation and to deepen bilateral cooperation in the regional and international arena. 



General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized that the Vietnamese Party, State, and Government are paying heightened attention to the Mongolian President’s State Visit to Vietnam, which is taking place on the eve of 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong expressed eagerness to enhance cooperation at all levels between the governing party and political parties of Vietnam and Mongolia, with the aim of elevating bilateral relations. 


The two sides commended the agreement reached by the Presidents of Mongolia and Vietnam to elevate bilateral relations to a Comprehensive Partnership and affirmed their commitment to closely collaborate to enrich trade and economic cooperation in the future.
