the invitation of Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve,
Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Woo Won-shik will pay
an official visit to Mongolia on April 26-30, 2025.
The Republic of Korea is Mongolia's "Third Neighbor" and a close partner in the region. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea.
This is the first official visit to be paid by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia in 12 years. The official visit will be important in expanding the "Strategic Partnership" and bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, while also deepening mutual understanding, maintaining the frequency of high-level visits and dialogue, and deepening the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
