The Forum, held under the theme “Hyperconnected Cities by ITS," brings together representatives from more than 30 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Deputy Ministers of 12 countries, including Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam, are presenting their visions for digital transformation and inter-city connectivity based on intelligent transport systems. The main goal of the Forum is to share expertise with professionals from other countries, explore new avenues for cooperation, and access the latest research and developments in the ITS sector directly from primary sources.

From Mongolia, State Secretary of the Ministry of Road and Transport of Mongolia Batbold Sandagdorj is participating in the 2025 Suwon ITS Forum. During the Forum, State Secretary Batbold introduced two new regional initiatives from Mongolia addressing trends, policies, and strategies in ITS development across Asia and globally. These proposals include establishing a unified insurance system for countries in the Asia-Pacific region based on intelligent transport systems and developing a regional integrated platform for international transport and logistics.

According to the Ministry of Road and Transport of Mongolia, the participants of the Forum expressed their support for Mongolia’s two proposals and affirmed their willingness to collaborate.
