NAMBC annual meeting and investors forum to be held
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The US Embassy’s website in Mongolia has reported that the 26th annual meeting and investors forum of the North America-Mongolia Business Council (NAMBC) will take place on May 17-18 at the Courtyard Marriott Ottawa Byward Market, Canada.
The NAMBC, based in Washington DC area since 1990, represents both U.S. and Canadian companies and organizations active in Mongolia.
Speakers at the Ottawa conference include the Chief Economist and Managing Director of Erdenes Mongol LLC, a member of the Board of Directors of Oyu Tolgoi LLC, the CEO of Erdene Resources Development Corp., Senator Joseph Day, chair of the Canada-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group, five current and former Canadian, American and Mongolian Ambassadors, the head of Mongolian Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce and other government officials and senior corporate executives.
This event is the only annual Mongolia business forum held every year in Canada or the United States. Attendance is capped at 100 to promote dialogue; proceedings are under the Chatham House Rule to encourage candor.
