Two intersections expanded in Sukhbaatar district

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Two newly renovated traffic intersections were inaugurated on August 28, Monday.
Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold attended the inauguration ceremonies of the intersection on the south-west of ‘Uguuj Chiher boov’ LLC and the ‘Auto Plaza’ intersection, both in Sukhbaatar district.
“Expansion of intersections is an important step to improve traffic flow”, said the Mayor in his opening remarks. In addition to the newly inaugurated intersections, two more intersections - 'Bogd Jebtsundamba' intersection and that of State University of Life Sciences have been expanded this year, owing to the increasing traffic in the capital city.
Documents such as the ‘General development plan of Ulaanbaatar - 2020’ and ‘Development Visions – 2030’ reflect an objective to develop the road network in the capital city with expansion and renovation of intersections and streets.
