Monthly Incentives Awarded to 78 Athletes

Ulaanbaatar, December 24, 2025 /MONTSAME. / In 2025, a total of 78 athletes from 11 sports who won medals at the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, and World Championships (in Olympic and Paralympic events, weight classes, and distances) have been granted monthly monetary incentives.
Of these athletes, the highest monthly incentive of 14 million tugriks is being paid to one athlete, while 22 athletes are receiving the minimum monthly incentive of 500,000 tugriks.
Meanwhile, members of the Mongolian national team won a total of 11 medals at the 2025 World Championships in seven sports included in the Olympic and Paralympic programs. Specifically, Orkhon Purevdorj won a bronze medal in freestyle wrestling, Yolk Kazirbyek and Gankhaich Bold claimed bronze medals in judo, Battulga Aldarkhishig won silver and Altantsetseg Lutsaikhany bronze in boxing, the women’s national 3x3 basketball team secured a silver medal, Turuunaa Lkhaijav and the men’s team won bronze medals in para judo, Sodnompiljee Enkhbayar claimed silver in para powerlifting, and the mixed team and women’s team won gold medals in para-archery.
Monthly incentives for these athletes will begin to be paid from January 1, 2026.
However, Enkhjin Tuvshinjargal, Altjin Togtokh, and Tulga Tumur-Ochir, who won medals in non-Olympic weight categories at the World Championships in freestyle wrestling, are not eligible for monthly monetary incentives under the current regulations.
