Meal, Ready-to-Eat to be supplied for Mongolian military

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “Uuts-1” ready-to-eat packaged meal made from domestic food products is ready for Mongolian military food supply. The nutritious and nourishing meal, which meets international standard and hygienic requirements as well as supports domestic production, has been studied since 2013 to be introduced for military supply and norms of meal were approved by the Defense Minister in 2015.
Uuts-1 (means food reserve) contains separately packed breakfast, lunch and dinner and utensils. While climatic features of Mongolia were considered in the soldier ration, it corresponds to norms of developed countries’ ration including Russia, China, France and US as well as UN.
The Meal, Ready-to-Eat will be used in peacekeeping and other international operations, joint and independent field trainings.
