Mongolian peacekeepers win first 19 places in Dancon March

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 'Dancon-2018' 25km marathon running tournament was organized among the peacekeepers in Afghanistan at 'New Kabul' military base. 249 peacekeepers participated in the marathon and Mongolian peacekeepers won the first 19 places, impressing their foreign colleagues.
Each participant had to carry at least 10 kg as body armour or a backpack to compete in the tournament and Junior Sergeant B.Lkhagvajav claimed the first place with record of 2.00.11h, Junior Sergeant B.Sanchir the second place with record of 2.01.19h and Junior Sergeant S.Tumurbaatar the third place with record of 2.02.20h.
The DANCON March has been an annual tradition for any Danish Contingents deployed since the first one was conducted in Cyprus in 1972. The march invites foreign troops, allied with Denmark, to participate in the 25 or 40 km march.
