70th anniversary of first train arriving in Mongolia marked

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Yesterday, November 7 marked 70th anniversary of the first railway train arrived in Mongolia. Ulaanbaatar Railways Mongolian-Russian joint stock company was established with agreement signed on June 6, 1949 and on November 7, the train departed from the Naushki railway station and arrived in Ulaanbaatar city.  


At the welcoming ceremony of the train, Mongolian famous artist LTsogzolmaa sang the ‘Gan Zam’ (Steel Road) song dedicated to the railway industry of Mongolia. On November 7, 2019, employees of Mongolian railway industry laid wreath to the statue of the Gan Zam song in Ulaanbaatar.
