Mongolia participates in Asia Destination Film Forum in Bangkok

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia N.Tserenbat led the Mongolian delegation to the 2nd Asia Destination Film Forum held in Bangkok, Thailand on 30 January 2020.
Within the framework of the Film Forum, Mongolia’s Minister of Environment and Tourism as well as Mr. Erdenebileg Ganbold, producer of the film “The Steed” and Ms. Bayasgalan Saranjav, Director-General, Department of Tourism Policy Coordination, Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia participated as main speakers in various panel discussions.
Mongolia, as one of the main partners of the 2nd Asia Destination Film Forum, presented the winner of the 2019 San Diego International Film Festival Award, the film “The Steed”. The screening of the film was followed by the “Mongolian Film Festival BBQ Party”, hosted by the country’s Ministry of Environment and Tourism, featuring Mongolian traditional food, cultural performances, and music.
In addition, on 29 January 2020, H.E. Mr. Tserenbat Namsrai, Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, H.E. Mr. Tugsbilguun Tumurkhuleg, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand and Ms. Bayasgalan Saranjav, Director-General, Department of Tourism Policy Coordination, Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia took part in a press conference organized with a view to promoting tourism in Mongolia for representatives of Thai media and social influencers.
