Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In 2005, about 200 earthquake occurrences were recorded in Mongolia. As of 2019, the figure increased by 1010, or five times in 15 years.

Therefore, the Institute of Disaster Studies at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) warns on possible disasters and accidents due to natural and weather conditions in the warm season of 2020.

“It is important to conduct training to the citizens on how to provide first aid in response to potential earthquake occurrences. Moreover, it is recommended to conduct inspections to clarify the disaster management plans of business entities and organizations” reported the NEMA.
