Russian language center opens in Murun

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Counsellor of the Embassy of the
Russian Federation in Mongolia, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Mongolia, Director
of Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Mongolia (RCSC) Amgalan Bazarkhandaev
is making an official visit to Khuvsgul aimag.
Rossotrudnichestvo agency of Russia that marks its 95th
anniversary this year will soon start the celebration of Mongolia-Russia
Friendship Days. On the occasion, a RCSC Russian Language Center was opened at
the ’Future-21st Century’ foreign language school in Murun, capital
of Khuvsgul aimag. The language center aims to promote the Russian language and
culture to the locals and involve local children in joint cultural projects and
programs. It will also be of great significance in allowing students and public
employees to pursue their undergraduate and graduate studies in Russia on the government
scholarship and upskill themselves, educate children, and elevate bilateral
cooperation in education.
The opening ceremony of the 28th RCSC Russian
Language Center was attended by local authorities headed by Governor of
Khuvsgul aimag L.Ganbold, Mr. Amgalan Bazarkhandaev, First Secretary of Russian
Embassy in Mongolia, RCSC Deputy Director Tatyana Budaeva, ’Future-21st Century’ school’s employees including school principal Ts.Bayarsaikhan, and
other officials, students, and locals .
Also, Rossotrudnichestvo agency provided USD 1,869 worth of textbooks, digital booklets, and classical literature books to the new language center.
