Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia stand at 582

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At today’s 5 PM press conference by the Ministry of Health on the COVID-19 situation in Mongolia, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa informed that four new cases have been confirmed in Mongolia since the latest update was provided in the morning of November 21, today. 


The new cases were all reported in Zamiin-Uud soum of Dornogobi aimag, and the total number of cases in the aimag reached 16, with 13 of them in Zamiin-Uud soum. 


The number of community infection cases in the country now reached 146 with various cluster zones across the country, such as in Ulaanbaatar city, Selenge, Orkhon, Gobisumber, Darkhan-Uul, Dornogobi aimags. The remaining are 'imported' cases that are detected from people arrived from abroad and were immediately put under 21-day mandatory isolation . 


Total confirmed cases in Mongolia are now at 582, with 337 recoveries.
