Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore T. Lkhagvadorj met with representatives led by Darius Lim, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and shared views on further cooperation.

At the meeting, the SBF expressed its readiness to bridge between the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) of Singapore and the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia and cooperate in training qualified personnel in modern specialties.

Global Connect B2B, a part of the Singapore Business Federation’s initiative ‘GlobalConnect @ SBF’, is a one-stop online platform designed to help Singaporean companies connect, partner, and do business with international companies around the world. Within this framework, it is possible to cooperate with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said Mr. Darius Lim.

MNCCI and the SBF jointly organized the ‘Singapore-Mongolia Business Dialogue’ meeting in 2019 during the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar to the Republic of Singapore, and the Mongolia-Singapore virtual business meeting in 2020. In this regard, Ambassador T.Lkhagvadorj put forward a request to the Singaporean side to study the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding between the SBF and the MNCCI, which can become important leverage to deepen further cooperation of businesses of the two countries.

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is the apex business chamber championing the interests of the Singapore business community in the areas of trade, investment, and industrial relations. It represents 27,200 companies, as well as key local and foreign business chambers.
