Mongolian ambassador meets SBF representatives
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore T. Lkhagvadorj met
with representatives led by Darius Lim, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the
Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and shared views on further cooperation.
At the meeting, the SBF expressed its readiness to bridge between the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) of Singapore and the
Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia and cooperate in training qualified
personnel in modern specialties.
Global Connect B2B, a part of the Singapore Business Federation’s
initiative ‘GlobalConnect @ SBF’, is a one-stop online platform designed to
help Singaporean companies connect, partner, and do business with international
companies around the world. Within this framework, it is possible to cooperate
with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said Mr. Darius
Lim.
MNCCI and the SBF jointly organized the ‘Singapore-Mongolia
Business Dialogue’ meeting in 2019 during the official visit of the Minister of
Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar to the Republic of Singapore, and the
Mongolia-Singapore virtual business meeting in 2020. In this regard, Ambassador
T.Lkhagvadorj put forward a request to the Singaporean side to study the
possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding between the SBF and
the MNCCI, which can become important leverage to deepen further cooperation of
businesses of the two countries.
