Top works of ‘Script of the Eternal Sky - 2021’ calligraphy exhibition selected

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On February 18, the opening ceremony of the ‘Script of the Eternal Sky - 2021’ exhibition took place at the State Palace. To those behind the top works submitted for the exhibition, awards were presented by Chief of Staff to the President Ya.Sodbaatar, Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin, Culture and Religious Policy Advisor to the President D.Bum-Ochir, Education, Science, and Technological Policy Advisor to the President Ch.Lodoiravsal, and Head of the National Council of Language Policy, People’s Teacher S.Dulam.

 

Aside from artists, school teachers, and students based in Mongolia, artists from the Republic of Buryatia, and the Republic of Kalmykia of the Russian Federation, and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China have also submitted their works for the exhibition.


The exhibition will run at the Mongolian Art Center for Children's Creativity from February 21 to March 4, free of charge. At the initiative of the President of Mongolia, the calligraphy exhibition for traditional Mongolian script has been annually organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chinggis Khaan - ‘National Pride Day’ since 2011. The annual exhibition for 2021 was postponed due to the pandemic situation.
