Draft Development Plan of Mongolia for 2026 Discussed

Ulaanbaatar, April 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) organized a multilateral discussion on the “National Development Plan for 2026” on April 1, 2025.  


During the discussion, Head of the Integrated Development Policy and Planning Department at the Ministry of Economy and Development Erdenebat Tseveendorj introduced the draft Development Plan of Mongolia for 2026 as well as the overall policies and planning strategies for development. Mr. Erdenebat Tseveendorj emphasized the importance of public-private sector cooperation in improving the business environment and highlighted the Government of Mongolia’s commitment to increasing private sector involvement in future development policies and planning.


The draft Development Plan of Mongolia for 2026 has been formulated in alignment with the “Human-Centered Development” concept, aiming at enhancing the business environment and the market economy, with a focus on regional development policy, human development policy, economic policy, and governance policy that cherishes human rights.


Representatives from the private sector and professional associations, as well as entrepreneurs, participated in the discussion and exchanged views on the draft Development Plan of Mongolia for 2026.
