First and last female Noyon of Mongolia
More specifically, it was in 1902, when the Manchus gave
the title of Noyon to the Queen Consort, which is the first and last time such
an event ever occurred. Her headdress with decoration, which was expression of
the rank, such as the tube of jade with a ruby on top that was coated in gold,
is still kept at the Bogd Khaan’s Palace Museum to this day.
