Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following events are expected in Mongolia in June 2017.

June 1 marks International Children’s Day.

On June 1-3 PM J.Erdenebat, by the invitation of the Government of Russia, is to attend St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and meet with officials of the Russian government.

On June 3-4 The Ministry of Environment, Green Development and Tourism, along with Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department to co-organize national tourism exhibition “Ulaanbaatar-2017” for the third consecutive year at the central square.

June 5 marks World Environment Day.

On June 6 Presidential election campaign to start.

June 7 marks Buddha Day, also known as Buddha’s Birthday.

On June 8-9 President Ts.Elbegdorj is to attend the high-level Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana.

On June 10-11 voters abroad will be casting their ballot in the Presidential election.

On June 10-11 the internal migration will be halted due to the Presidential election.

On June 13 annual Crane Festival takes place.

On June 14-18 General Admission Exam for high school graduates to take place across the country.

June 17 World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought will be celebrated.

On June 18 the Embassy of India is to organize “Yoga Day” at the central square.

On June 19 the Business Council of Mongolia is to hold 2nd Annual BCM Summit under the theme “Regional Connectivity in Asia.

On June 20 the 14th anniversary of Mongolian emergency management sector to take place

June 20 marks World Refugee Day.

June 23 marks Mongolian Civil Servants’ Day.

June 25-27 Buryat Festival “Minii Toonot Nutag” is to take place in Bayndun soum of Dornod aimag.

June 26 marks the International day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

On June 26 voting for Mongolian Presidential election takes place across the country.

On June 20 a jazz band “The Syncopators” to hold their concert on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Australia.

June 28 marks Mongolian athletes’ day.

June 28 marks Mongolian lawyers’ day.

On June 30, annual music festival, which aims to promote Mongolian culture with music, “Hunnu Music Festival – 2017” is to take place at the Tsonjin Boldog, Tuv aimag.
