Contract Signed for Housing Project of 1,800 Families in Khanyn Material

Ulaanbaatar, October 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Executive
Director of the Ulaanbaatar Housing Corporation, M. Govisaikhan, and Executive
Director of Material Impex LLC, B. Zorig, signed a contract on October 8, 2025,
to initiate a housing project for 1,800 families in the Khanyn Material area of
Khoroo 5 of Songinokhairkhan District.
The project plans to build a residential apartment complex
with a kindergarten for 240 children, a school with 400 seats, sports centers,
and shopping centers.
To reduce air and soil pollution, traffic congestion in
Ulaanbaatar, and to provide healthy and safe living conditions for its
citizens, an open tender has been announced to implement a housing project
covering 12.6 hectares with 232 land plots in this area. Material Impex submitted
its proposal with its partners, won the tender, and received confirmation from
the Governor of the Capital City.
This project is one of the 24 mega projects to be
implemented in Ulaanbaatar between 2025 and 2028.
