Naadam Festival wraps up in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Naadam festival wrapped up on July 12 in Ulaanbaatar as the wrestling tournament concluded.
Hawk of State Ts.Sodnomdorj won the wrestling tournament after defeating U.Bat-Orshikh in the 9th round. His title is upgraded to Lion of State.
In the wrestling tournament, one Lion of State, one Garuda of State, two Elephant of State, two Hawk of State and six Falcon of State were born. Beijing Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar earned an Elephant of State title. He lost to U.Bat-Orshikh who proceeded to make it to the final.
Before the final of the wrestling tournament, winners of the archery and horse race of state Naadam were presented with the medals. The child jockeys received gifts from President Kh.Battulga.
The President delivered closing remarks after the medal presentation of the wrestling tournament, and the 2017 Naadam Festival wrapped up in the capital city.
