Mongolia Participates for the First Time in Milan Fashion Week

Ulaanbaatar, March 10, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Representatives of the Mongolian wool and cashmere industry participated for the first time in the Milan Fashion Week held in Milan, Italy, from February 25 to March 2, under the National Brand "Go Mongolia," with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry of Mongolia.


Milan Fashion Week, recognized among the top five fashion weeks globally, is organized biannually. Mongolia joined through the "Fashion Hub" Project, designed specifically to nurture young designers by enhancing their skills, facilitating experience exchanges, and enabling meaningful interactions with prominent fashion consultants and designers.


During the event, the "Go Mongolia" pavilion attracted guests, including representatives from the renowned Italian fashion magazine Vogue, various international media organizations, influencers, designers, buyers, boutique owners of Milan, and the President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), the Italian Chamber of Fashion. Visitors showed great interest in Mongol cashmere, appreciating its distinctive qualities and the innovative creations presented by Mongolian designers.
