Ulaanbaatar, April 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The “One Sky” International Family Center of Mongolia has launched one of its main programs, a training course for the empowerment of families in Mongolia.

In the first stage of the program, 30 methodologists and teachers from 15 public kindergartens in the Bayanzurkh district of Ulaanbaatar are participating in the training. The family empowerment training program aims at educating parents on the importance of healthy development of their children while also equipping them with practical knowledge and skills to support their children’s upbringing.

Senior Advisor Sara Klaus said, “Our organization is implementing a program to empower parents and support mothers and fathers with young children. Parents of young children will share their knowledge with kindergarten teachers on how to foster children’s development within the family environment. This will make a significant contribution to children’s overall growth. According to research conducted by UNICEF Mongolia, child-centered parenting approaches have proven to be highly effective. The training is expected to yield positive outcomes, including improved health awareness, reduced stress levels, and enhanced interpersonal relationships. Additionally, participants will gain crucial knowledge on ensuring proper nutrition and dietary balance for young children.”
