Canadian Ambassador Presents Credentials Copy

Ulaanbaatar, August 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Mr. Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, received Ambassador-designate of Canada to Mongolia, Mr. Stephen Doust, and accepted the copy of his Letter of Credence.


At the beginning of the meeting, State Secretary Munkhtushig noted that Mongolia attaches significant importance to enriching Mongolia-Canada relations, which are developing at the level of a Comprehensive Partnership, with greater economic content, and to maintaining the frequency of high-level visits. The State Secretary also congratulated the Ambassador-designate on formally assuming his duties.


Ambassador-designate of Canada to Mongolia, Mr. Stephen Doust, expressed his pleasure at being appointed as Canada’s Ambassador to Mongolia and affirmed his commitment to further expanding bilateral relations in politics, trade, economy, mining, and humanitarian cooperation, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
