Aside from the auto and rail
roads, a 110 kW power transmission line and sub-station will be commissioned by
July 1.
Ambassador of the Republic
of India to Mongolia Mohinder Pratap Singh:
“I got the confidence that
the oil refinery establishment project will wrap up within the timeframe. Thank
you, the Government of Mongolia and Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh for giving your
full support to the project which is very significant to bilateral relations
and cooperation. I would not have believed this much work could be done if I
had not seen it with my own eyes. I am pleased with the fruitfulness of the
investment.”
Even the locals are taking
part in the construction works and local companies are supplying concrete,
cement, gravel, other materials and food for the workers.
Governor of Dornogobi aimag

“We agreed with Ambassador
Mohinder Pratap Singh to train the refinery’s staff at the local vocational
training center and to make up 30 percent of the people to be upskilled in
India from the locals.”
With a yearly capacity of
1.5 million tons, the oil refinery which is being built with a soft loan from
India will replace imports worth USD 1.2 billion and its establishment opens a
