In alignment with its 2024–2028 Action Program, the Government of Mongolia has set forth a goal to implement a national labor exchange and social service platform that meets international standards. This initiative seeks to boost employment rates through partnerships between the public and private sectors. As part of this Program, the first four “Job Centers” in Ulaanbaatar opened their doors on December 9, 2024.

The centers, located in Khan-Uul, Bayangol, and Sukhbaatar districts of Ulaanbaatar, provide integrated services for citizens. Services include skills evaluations, career counseling, job placement, labor market data, and comprehensive information on related laws, policies, and regulations.

The “Job Centers” will also cater to mothers caring for their children and persons with developmental challenges, and provide them with customized services to address their needs. Over time, a total of 19 “Job centers” are expected to operate nationwide.

The opening ceremony was attended by L. Enkh-Amgalan, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia, Z. Enkhbold, Head of the General Department of Labor and Welfare Services, and A. Amarjargal, Executive Director of the "Mongolian Union of Labor Markets" NGO.
