Ulaanbaatar, May 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Parliamentary Research and Development Institute under the Secretariat of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia invited Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia Academician Chuluun Sampildondov, and held an "Author's Meeting" on the twelve-volume “Mongol Heritage Spread Around the World: For Complete History” in the Library of the State Great Khural.

Director of the Parliamentary Research and Development Institute Bumdari Dagvaochir noted that the Institute aims at hosting a series of “Author's Meetings” to promote the latest literature to the public and readers through the Library. Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum Chuluun highlighted that artifacts belonging to ancient Mongols are found and preserved in many countries around the world, which demonstrates the reach and impact that Mongols had on mankind, more than any other nation. Additionally, Academician Chuluun stated that in the last 100 years, no scientific work regarding records, facts, and relics related to Mongols preserved in archives, libraries, and museums abroad has been included in Mongolian history studies.

The “Mongol Heritage Spread Across the World” Project started in 2011, with twelve volumes published so far. Materials and relics related to the Mongols’ livelihood, script, and Buddhist and Shamanistic deities, along with archaeological and historical items preserved in the State Hermitage Museum of the Russian Federation, the Central Library of the Hungarian National Museum, the National Museum, the Central Library, and the National Archives of Japan, the archives of the Taipei Palace Museum, the Museum of Cultural History at the University of Oslo, Norway, and Irkutsk’s Museum of Regional Studies, have been compiled, thoroughly studied, and published in the Mongolian language for readers as regular reference source for research.

Furthermore, Academician Chuluun emphasized that the 12 volumes include over 5400 new artifacts, with plans to cover additional artifacts related to Mongol heritage preserved in countries such as the United Kingdom, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the French Republic, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Poland, and the United States. At the end "Author's Meeting," Academician Chuluun donated the twelve-volume “Mongol Heritage Spread Around the World" to the Library of the State Great Khural.
