European Championship of Mongolian National Wrestling to Take Place in Budapest

Ulaanbaatar, October 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian National Wrestling Federation (MNWA) has released the official tournament schedule and activities for October 2025.
The highlight of the month will be the “Golden Cup” tournament, featuring a prize pool of MNT 1.5 billion, with the draw scheduled for October 20, 2025. Another notable event is the European Championship of Mongolian National Wrestling, scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary. Mongolians living and working across Europe are eligible to compete. In addition, the National Junior and Youth Championships, named after 12-time Mongolian wrestling champion Bat-Erdene Badmaanyambuu, will be organized in Chinggis City, Khentii aimag.

- October 4-5:
European Championship of Mongolian National Wrestling, Budapest, the Republic
of Hungary
- October 5:
Veterans’ Wrestling Tournament
- October 11: Mongolian
National Wrestling Tournament dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Bayangol
District, featuring 128 wrestlers with national, aimag, and military titles
- October 17: Mongolian
National Wrestling Tournament dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the School of
Physical Education of the Mongolian National University of Education, featuring
64 wrestlers
- October 18:
Tournament of soum-level wrestlers and young wrestlers
- October 21-24: National Junior and Youth Wrestling Championship
- October 25-26:
First round of the Mongolian National Wrestling Federation’s “Golden Cup”
