Oath of Mongolian Citizenship taken by 850 students
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Mongolian People’s Republic with the adoption of the first Constitution, a ceremony took place for 850 students from nine districts of Ulaanbaatar, and 21 aimags of the country to take the oath of Mongolian Citizenship at the State House on November 26.

Mongolia ratified the Paris Agreement in 2016.

New Governor of central bank appointed
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Yesterday, Parliament dismissed Governor of the Bank of Mongolia N.Bayartsaikhan from his position. On November 22, at its plenary session, the Parliament backed to appoint B.Lkhagvasuren as a new head of the central bank of Mongolia.

Government of Mongolia ordered to improve Oyu Tolgoi agreements
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 21, Parliament unanimously approved a draft resolution aimed at protecting the rights and interests of Mongolian people in the exploitation of Oyu Tolgoi deposits. A total of 46 members of the Parliament present at the session voted in favor of the resolution approval. The resolution has eight articles to ‘improve agreements regarding the Oyu Tolgoi.
Intergovernmental agreement on Biocombinat renovation project amended
On November 21, Minister of Finance Ch.Khurelbaatar and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia Mihály Gálosfai signed the amended agreement on General Programme of Financial Cooperation.

PM U.Khurelsukh visits construction site of Tavantolgoi-Zuunbayan railroad
The construction of 414 km railroad in route Tavantolgoi-Zuunbayan is progressing successfully. The works are being conducted concurrently by dividing the railway into three parts and currently, building of 14 km dam foundation has been completed and it is ready to lay the railway track.
