15th Gates to Asia exhibition ongoing

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ More than 50 Russian delegates of 36 entities and companies working in automobile, light industry, food, construction, energy, agriculture, tourism and jewelry industries from more than 10 Russian cities have come to exhibit their products and services at the 15th Gates to Asia exhibition which opened in the building of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on April  25, Tuesday.

The annual international exhibition, co-organized by the Chamber and Russian ‘Business Contact’ company, aims to progress Mongolia-Russia economic relations and connect businesses.

In his opening remarks, B.Lkhagvajav highlighted the friendly relations between Mongolia and Russia and the visa-free travel regime since 2014 which helped expand bilateral cultural exchange and people-to-people relationship between the two countries.
“Russia is Mongolia’s major trade partner, but cooperation between our companies is just in the initial phase. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen business-to-business relationship between Mongolia and Russia so as to upgrade the bilateral economic cooperation to a new level, and this will be addressed at Mongolia-Russia Business Meeting on April 26”.
The other exhibitors include Mongolian State Bank and ‘Gurvan Sor’ cashmere brand and companies from the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The exhibition will continue until April 27, Thursday.
